Thu 23 Nov 2023I could not be prouder of these children. They have been so dedicated to morning clubs, after school clubs and practiced at break & lunch. They have pushed themselves out of their comfort zone and shown such courage & bravery to get on that stage to perform in front of 100s of people.
Massive thank you to all the parents for your patience and support. It was such a special moment knowing every child had someone there to support them 🙏 to quote Hamna ‘it was the best night of my life!’They are all stars 🌟 Well done everyone ⭐️

Fri 27 Oct 2023We had the best day rehearsing for our up coming show ‘GOTTA DANCE BURNLEY’
Professional Dancer Dominique was back in school and Musical Theatre star Joe Boyle came in to school to work with our children all day and help create two amazing dances. We have been working so hard to perfect them and I am so proud of them all.
We are SO EXCITED to perform to our friends, family and hundreds of people in November ⭐️⭐️

OUR NEW SUPERSTAR RECEPTION CLASS - The children have had such a brilliant start to their school journey. We have been working on our fundamental movement skills, animal travel, spacial awareness and have been doing lots and lots of dancing. 💃🏽🕺🏼 We finished off with a fun FMS circuit. We are very excited about this class and their talents. Well done everyone ⭐️⭐️

A brilliant 6 weeks in the forest for year 1 🌳🔥
Wed 11 Oct 2023Year 1 have had a wonderful 6 weeks in the forest 🌳
They have made Gruffalo clay creatures, been on bug hunts, been on a tree swing, toasted marshmallows, made their own stick family, made lots of dens and lots lots more.
Well done year 1. You have been amazing ⭐️

First Mass of the school year 🙏
Tue 10 Oct 2023We had a beautiful Mass from Father Ged this morning. A special mention to Blake & Hanna who were alter servers for the first time and did a brilliant job and our wonderful year 5 readers.
We were very honoured to have Sister Alice and her fellow sisters from the convent, in particular Sister Bhiji all the way from India.

Thu 21 Sep 2023Today Year 6 presented a wonderful assembly telling us all about the virtues we have in school and the values we have in Britain that make it a wonderful place to study and live.
In school we are celebrating a virtue a month and in September ‘with god by my side I will be trustworthy’

Thank you for all your support last year with PE and our school sport. We achieved the gold award for all our commitment to developing competition across our school and community.
Keep a look out for all our extra curricular clubs starting in a couple of weeks.
There will half termly and termly awards and badges for children who have shown outstanding commitment to extra curricular activities.
I can’t wait to see you all tomorrow and get going with our PE, School Sport and Physical Education.
