  Competitive Sports Day

  Today the children represented their House Team in -

  Obstacle Course

  Egg and Spoon

  Relay

  Sprint

  Skipping

  Bean bag

  Well done to all of the children who took part and demonstrated excellent sportsmanship throughout.

  Individual race winners were awarded gold medals and silver badges for first and second place. At the end of the events all of the points were added together to find an overall winning team.

  Well done to Amethyst House our winning team.

• Sports Carousel

  On Thursday each child represented their House Team in our carousel Sports Day. The children worked as part of a team and took part in a series of events. These included domes and dishes, tennis balance, netball shoot out, relay and putting. For each event the teams were awarded points which were added up at the end of the day. Well done to Amethyst House who won overall with the highest point score.

  This week we have had a fantastic week of sporting events in celebration of our annual 'Sports Week'. On Tuesday and Wednesday the children took part in a carousel of activities to exercise both mind and body. These included yoga, friendship circles, e safety, football strip design, wake and shake, smiling, netball, skipping and anti bullying.
