We have four house groups. Every child is put into a group and remains in the same house group throughout their time at our school.

Each house is specially linked with a local charity or our parish and it is the responsibility of the team captain and members of the house group to complete 'The 5 Golden Circles' to demonstrate the schools commitment to caring for others within our community.

The House groups and their community links are-

    Emerald - Toilet Twinning 

           with Mrs Ramsden and Mrs Addy    

 Amethyst - Milly's Smiles

             with Mr Frankland and Mrs Thomson

 Diamond - Twinning with Indian village and Kolta School, Punjab. 

        with Mr Addy and Mrs Thornley

       Ruby - Blackburn Food Bank

              with Mrs Parker, Mrs Shepherd

The 5 Golden Circles

To support and raise awareness of our community groups each house must complete these five challenges -

• Create a display within the community
• Raise awareness through our school website
• Produce an assembly
• Raise money
• Organise and run a community event
