• Babushka

  Thank you to all of the parents, parishioners and wider community who came along to this week's Key stage One production of Babushka. The children worked extremely hard this half term to learn their lines, songs and dances. I am sure that you will all agree that their performance was wonderful. Thank you for your kind donations of £42.00 which will go towards school funds.

  

• Christmas Fayre

  Thank you to all of the families who joined us last Saturday for our annual Christmas Fayre. I am sure that you will agree it was a fun day out for the family. In total we raised £750.00 which has been added to the PTA school fund. A newsletter will be sent out in the Spring term to inform parents how this money has been spent and the benefit it will have for our pupils.

• Choir at the Cathedral

  Congratulations to our superb choir who represented our school at this week's Christmas Cathedral Concert. I am sure that all of you who attended will agree that they sang beautifully. Our school is very proud of our talented youngsters. Thank you to Mrs Parker for all of your hard work and dedication.

  

• Advent Begins

  This week the children have begun thinking about Advent. We have been decorating our classrooms and putting up the school Christmas Tree.

   

  Our GIFT Team were involved in a very special event at St Bede's RC High School where they joined other primaries to take part in Advent activities.

   

  Please don't forget to join us tomorrow for out Christmas Fayre from 11:00am - 2:00pm.

   

  As part of the day the children were challenged to design and create an Advent Artwork. Congratulations to team SMSJ who won!
