  • BLACKBURN ROVERS - CAREERS TALK ⚽️⭐️

    Fri 10 Feb 2023

We were lucky enough to have two Under 14 BRFC coaches come into school, Dan & Tabby. Dan spoke of his journey achieving his dream of being a coach for his favourite club.  He grew up in a block of flats in Darwen and never gave up on his dream. He worked from the bottom up and was a coach at Man Utd for years. He has done some amazing things and now has a lovely big house, cars and a beautiful family. His message was to work hard for what you want and never give up. Tabby is from South Africa and due to covid had to take some huge chances and thanks to the Premier Leagues BAME programme he now is following his dreams and has secured a full time place at BRFC.

The children got to attempt some challenges. Dan told them they were heroes for even just having a go in front of everyone and that you have to take on challenges that are hard and uncomfortable to progress in life. A truly inspirational afternoon ⚽️⭐️
