  Last week some of our children celebrated the end of 'The Year of Mercy' by visiting Salford Cathedral to take part in a special Mass alongside other Catholic schools. 

  

• Maths Challenge

  Year 5 and 6 pupils have been taking part in a maths challenge. This involves logical thinking and problem solving.  These are the winners who completed their 25 question challenge. Each child achieved either their plain, bronze, silver or gold award.

  

• Creative Homework Winners

  Congratulations to these children who won Mrs Thomson's creative homework challenge.  They made some superb models using their plastic cup.

• Sky Room Open Event

  Congratulations to the children who won the Dulux Smarter Spaces Competition. Last week was the official opening ceremony which was led by MP Kate Hollern and town mayor Cllr Hussain Akhar.

  The school received a wonderful write up in the Lancashire Telegraph.
