Maths Workshop for Parents

Many thanks to all the parents who attended our Maths Workshop.

We know you found Mr Frankland's informative Mathletics session valuable and we have noticed an increase in children logging on and making use of this excellent resource at home.

Please let us know if you need any more guidance or information about how to help your child at home and we will be more than happy to help.

Well done to all of the parents who attended and recieved their certificates.

Showing our parents how to use an abacus.

Completing our Maths Challenge cards.

Parents took away number squares, numberlines and plenty of number song ideas to help their child at home.

Enjoying our Christmas lunch. Merry Christmas everyone!

Year One raised £20 to dedicate a tree in a wood in the south of England to people who survived World War 2. They made and sold tree shaped biscuits and sent the money to 'The Woodland Trust' who create new woodlands to improve the environment. Here are some of the class recieving our certificate.

Thank you to all the parents that attended our 'Meet the Year One Teachers' session on Wednesday. It was great to see how supportive of your children's learning you all are. We hope that you found the session useful and enjoyed working with the children at their tables. We are around each morning on the school playground if you have any further questions.
