As a school we have been awarded the 'Leading Parent Partnership Award''. We decided to take part in this process as we are committed to engaging parents with their child's education and aim to forge excellent relationships between home and school.
The research states -
With this and other research in mind we aim to provide various opportunities throughout the year for parents to become involved with their child's learning. We hope to see you at some of the workshops, parents evenings and P.T.A events or hearing your views through our suggestions boxes or 'Your View Forum'. Continue to keep posted of upcoming events through our website, newsletters and school information boards.
Thank you for your support
Volunteering in School
Our school's mission is to create an educational environment in which pupils are given the opportunity to reach their full potential, and the academic, social, and developmental needs of each child are met. We are looking for volunteers to help us with that awesome task.
The children and I invite you to come to school to volunteer your time and talents. We will value you as a volunteer, and appreciate your dedication to the children as a supportive friend, role model, and helper.
We know your time may be limited, but we hope this invitation will empower you to come in and volunteer. Please feel free to contact me with a time to volunteer that is convenient for you. This could be to listen to readers, support with the school library, share a special talent e.g. craft, sport, or talk to the children about your exciting profession!
Thank you again for volunteering your time and talents! Together, we can make a difference in the lives of children.
Many thanks
