Year 4

Welcome to Year 4!

Your class teachers will be Ms McPhee, Mrs Humaira and Mrs Hilton. We are looking forward to a brilliant and successful year ahead. Below you will find the latest news and events that are taking place in school.

PE will be held on Tuesdays. Children must attend school in full PE kit.

Books are changed on a weekly basis. Please ensure that your child's reading records are updated (signed and dated).

Timestable screening will be held this year. During the Summer term, schools across the country will be tested on their timestable knowledge. It is vital that your child practices their timestables regularly at home. They can do this using timestables rockstars or alternatively timestables.co.uk.

Spellings will be given on a fortnightly basis and tests are held on Fridays.

This year we will be trialling a new incentive for independent study known as 'My passion, my Project.' If your child is chosen for this, they will be sent home with a letter. This is a fantastic opportunity for children to showcase their knowledge to their peers.
