    Blackburn Food Bank

    One of the key charitable initiatives we support at St Mary's St Joseph's is the Blackburn Food Bank. The Blackburn Food Bank is a local organisation that provides emergency food and support to individuals and families in crisis across our community. Aligned with our school's values of compassion and service, we regularly collect donations of non-perishable food items, toiletries, and other essential supplies to contribute to the Food Bank's efforts.

    • Our pupils take an active role in organising food drives and raising awareness about the Blackburn Food Bank within our school community.
    • Volunteers from the food bank come in to deliver assemblies to help us to learn more about its mission and understand the positive impact it has on local families in need.
    • By supporting the Blackburn Food Bank, we are able to put our Catholic faith into action and live out our school's commitment to serving the common good.
