This month we focused on our virtue Humility. This means to be 'humble' and it was wonderful to hear from staff how these children demonstrate this virtue in their everyday lives. Well done. We are all very proud of you.
Today we planted our new wild flower garden in our attempt to encourage a greater variety of wildlife to our school grounds. We chose seeds that should encourage bees, butterflies and other pollinators. We are looking forward to watching this grow and develop over time.
Thank you to our St George team captain and vice captain for organising and leading our whole school assembly today. We celebrated St George's Day together and all wore red in celebration. Thank you for sharing some interesting facts and ensuring that we all understand who St George was and why we celebrate St George's Day.
Today Year 1 were visited by the road safety team. They learnt where to cross the road safely, how to cross the road safely and the importance of always being with a grown up when we are crossing the road.
Our children in Reception class had a wonderful time celebrating Easter and Eid with their families. The children took part in various activities all rounded off with some lovely traditional foods.
