      Our Year 6 pupils will be selling poppies during the next few weeks to support the Royal British Legion and the work they do to help to provide life-long support to serving and ex-serving members of the British Armed Forces, their families and dependants through hardships, injuries and bereavements.

    • Harvest - Blackburn Foodbank

      Today we welcomed volunteers from Blackburn Food Bank, to share with us the amazing work they do in supporting people in need in our local community.

      As part of our Harvest celebrations, we have collected food to donate to this invaluable charity, in the hope that we can all play a part in supporting people in our community.

    • Lent/Easter Activity Day

      Today each class planned creative RE activities linked to the theme of Easter/Lent.  At the end of the day, each class presented their work to the whole school.  This was a fantastic way to enhance our RE learning and to share the story of the events which led to Jesus' death and His Resurrection at Easter.  All the children were thoroughly engaged and did some amazing work.
