Craft School/Eden Project Collaboration
We are thrilled to share the news that our talented craft club, led by Mrs Ramsden, Mrs Boyle and Miss McPhee, recently participated in the Craft Council's end-of-year competition. The group, which includes some of our quieter pupils, worked together to create a beautiful woven cross that has now been made into an altar cloth for our school.
Through the lunchtime sessions, our pupils were able to develop their confidence and skills, while also contributing to a meaningful piece of art that will be displayed in our school. We are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication shown by both the staff and pupils involved.
As we await the results of the Craft Council competition, we are excited to see how our woven cross altar cloth will be received. This project is just one example of how we strive to fulfil our school's mission and values, which are at the heart of everything we do.
At St Mary's St Joseph's RC Primary, we are committed to creating a learning environment that celebrates creativity, fosters spiritual growth, and empowers our pupils to reach their full potential. We look forward to continuing to share our successes and achievements with our parents, pupils, and the wider community.
