Welcoming the Salford Diocese Anchor of Hope - Jubilee Year of Hope
Today pupils and staff from St Peter's RC Primary, Blackburn brought the Anchor of Hope to our school as it continues its pilgrimage journey around the Catholic schools in the Salford Diocese.
The Diocesan anchor is a symbol of the Jubilee Year, which Pope Francis has called us to celebrate in 2025. The large anchor will travel to all schools in the Salford Diocese and we have been given our own smaller anchors to keep in school to mark this very special year. We will continue by celebrating a day of hope in school, keeping the flame of hope flickering brightly!
