Our EYFS and KS1 children delighted families and staff with their wonderful Nativity performances. Through songs, acting, and storytelling, the children retold the story of the birth of Jesus with confidence, enthusiasm, and joy.
The purpose of the Nativity is to help children understand and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. It provides an opportunity to learn about the Christian story of Jesus' birth and the messages of hope, love, peace, and kindness that it brings. The performances also help children develop their confidence, communication skills, and teamwork while sharing this special story with our school community.
We are incredibly proud of all the children for their hard work and excellent performances. Well done, EYFS and KS1!
Year 4 presented a wonderful assembly exploring the season of Advent. Through their thoughtful readings, prayers, and performances, they helped us reflect on the importance of hope, preparation, and waiting for the celebration of Christmas. Well done to all of Year 4 for their hard work and excellent presentation.

A selection of our pupils had the wonderful opportunity to attend a special Christmas event organised by Bolton Music Service, alongside children from other primary schools across the borough.
The event was filled with music, joy, and festive spirit, creating a truly magical atmosphere for everyone involved. It was wonderful to see the children singing, participating, and enjoying the experience together. The happiness that filled the room was infectious, making it a memorable occasion for all.
We were incredibly proud of our pupils, who represented our school brilliantly. Their behaviour was fantastic throughout the event, and they demonstrated excellent manners, enthusiasm, and respect.
A huge thank you to Bolton Music Service for organising such a special and enjoyable experience for our children.
The bowling boys had the best time down at the bowling alley competing against lots of other schools. They were so proud of themselves and so are we 🥇
Our KS2 children enjoyed a fantastic trip to the cinema as a special end-of-term treat. Year 3 watched The Wild Robot, Year 4 enjoyed Paddington in Peru (Paddington 3), and Years 5 and 6 were entertained by The Bad Guys 2.
The children had a wonderful time watching their films with friends and were a credit to the school throughout the visit. Their excellent behaviour and enthusiasm helped make the trip a memorable experience for everyone.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Blackburn Vue Cinema for generously donating the cinema tickets. Their kindness enabled our children to enjoy this special opportunity and create lasting memories together.
Thank you, Blackburn Vue Cinema, for your support and generosity.
