Sister Alice was invited in to Year 3 to talk about the Rosary.
Our Year 6 pupils will be selling poppies during the next few weeks to support the Royal British Legion and the work they do to help to provide life-long support to serving and ex-serving members of the British Armed Forces, their families and dependants through hardships, injuries and bereavements.
We have been learning all about our local environment, looking at maps and local landmarks. We took part in a game of Blackburn bingo, recognising the different landmarks on our game cards!
We have been learning all about a Catholic baptism and how people are welcomed into the church.
We have been learning all about our families and how we are all part of God's family.
We have been learning all about ourselves in Reception Class. We have been thinking about how we are all special and unique, that God loves us all and that we are all part of God's family.
We have been having so much fun, making new friends and settling into our new school environment!
