This year we challenged you to create a scene from a Bible story. You did not disappoint! It was wonderful to see how you brought these stories to life in a creative way. We hope that you enjoyed making them with your families. Thank you to every one who took part in this activity.
To celebrate World Book Day we decided to use Bible Stories for our inspiration. Each class chose a story from the Old Testament and used this as the basis of their activities for the day. We began with a whole school assembly where we talked about the gift of the Bible and why it is such an important book for Christians around the world. Each class produced some wonderful work to display their understanding of the scripture, and its importance in sharing the word of God. The children presented their work at the end of the day.
To celebrate St David's Day our St David House Captain and Vice Captain led the whole school worship.

Dental Nurse Visit
Thank you to all of the families who came along to our speaking and listening morning for children in Year 1. It was wonderful to see the children enjoying playing a range of games. These really do help with developing vocabulary, listening skills and they are great fun. If you would like to borrow any games for home please speak to Mrs Ramsden who will be happy to help.
