Speaking and Listening Workshop
Reception Class have been learning about the Easter Story. The whole class walked down to Queens Park and used role play and drama to really think about what it must have been like for Jesus, Mary and the Disciples.
Year 5 printing workshop at Blackburn Museum
Today we had some very special guests into school. We were visited by the travelling farm who came to teach us about their work, how to care for animals and where our food comes from. We were able to ask questions, handle the animals and even got to groom the ponies. What a fantastic day!
Today Year 4 visited Blackburn Museum. They were shown around the galleries and used the pieces as a starting point for their own drawings. The children then used a foam panel to transfer their ideas into a printing block. The final pieces were stunning. Well done Year 4.
