Muck, Mess and Mixtures - Spring 2

Today we have been tasting different foods from around the world. We used our senses to decribe them. Take a look at our photographs of our tasting session and some of the words we used to describe the food and drinks. 

Sweet    sour    spicy     salty     plain     juicy     Watery    crunchy     soft      crispy   squidgy         delicious!     

We tasted  Tortilla Chips, Prawn Crackers, Melon, Kiwi Fruit, Brie Cheese, Guava juice, Earl Grey Tea, Peppers and Scones.

We began our topic by exploring FRUITS.  We have tasted them, describing them using our senses. 

We have also done some observational drawings of fruits, looking carefully at what they look like on the inside.

We will be tasting different FOODS from around the world, comparing and describing their tastes.

In Literacy, we have been reading 'George's Marvellous Medicine.' 

We have looked at some of Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes!

and followed instructions to make      NishNobblers!
