The children had lots of fun preparing jam sandwiches and crispy cakes for our picnic.
We played lots of fun games including pin the bow tie on the teddy, pass the parcel, parachute games, scavenger hunt and finally we ended the afternoon with a story in our 4D classroom.
Thank you to all of the parents who were able to join us. We hope that you had a fantastic time.
We have been listening to the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We enjoyed joining in with the repeated parts of the story and using a big loud voice for Daddy Bear, a medium voice for Mummy Bear and a teeny weeny voice for Baby Bear.
We have been acting out the story in our role play Bear's House.
We wrote lots of words to describe Goldilocks. We decided that she was very naughty to go into the bears house without asking and cause lots of trouble. We became police officers for the day and made WANTED posters for Goldilocks.

A Bear !
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
We have been making sounds to match the story using musical instruments and materials which we put into plastic bottles. We added grass, mud, coloured water and sticks. Why not try emptying a plastic bottle and making a sound bottle at home!
We have created the scene from the story using lots of painting techniques and collage materials.
Look at us on our bear hunt!
