Welcome to the home of our vibrant Reception Class! We are delighted to have you and your child join us on this exciting learning journey.

Together, we are committed to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for your child's development.

Our Learning Approach:

In our Reception Class, we offer play-based learning experiences alongside focused group work. Our activities are designed to foster creativity, curiosity, and collaboration among the children, both indoors and outdoors in our wonderful learning environment.

Through play, children engage in hands-on experiences that develop their social skills and problem-solving abilities. Focused activities allow them to delve deeper into specific topics, ensuring they gain a well-rounded understanding of the world around them.

Physical Education (PE)

Physical activity is vital for young learners, and we have scheduled PE classes to keep them active and healthy:

Tuesdays and Thursdays with Miss Boyle.

Please ensure your child comes dressed in their PE kits and trainers for these fun and energetic sessions.

To cultivate a love for reading, we change reading books every Thursday and your child will visit our school library, taking home a new library book every Friday.

Please remember to return the current book so that your child can enjoy a new adventure each week.
