2026 Main Intake Dates and Deadlines – RC / CE Primary School Appeals

Deadline for On-Time appeals -15th May 2026

Appeals will be accepted after this deadline, but they may be heard at a later date than appeals lodged on time.

Notice of Hearing Issued – 8th June –12th June 2026

For appeals lodged on time, a notice of appeal hearing date and time should be issued at this time.

Appeal Hearings take place - 22nd – 26th June 2026

All appeals lodged before the deadline of 15th May 2026 will be heard before the end of 26th June 2026.

Notice of Hearing Issued for Late Appeals – 22nd – 26th June 2026

For appeals lodged after the deadline, a notice of appeal hearing date and time should be issued in this time period.

Late Appeal Hearings take place - 6th – 10th July 2026

Hearings for appeals lodged after the deadline of 15th May 2026 will take place before the end of 10th July 2026*

*Appeal hearings for all appeals lodged after 15th May 2026 will be heard with the On-Time appeals wherever possible.
If they cannot be heard with the On-Time appeals, they will be heard within 30 school days of the date the appeals are lodged. In some circumstances, this may mean appeals for the September intake will be heard after the school’s summer holidays.
We will endeavour to stick to the above dates wherever possible. However, please be aware that these dates may be subject to change depending on the number of appeals received. Appeal hearings are typically heard in a hybrid format.
