Our pupils thoroughly enjoyed taking part in Outside Reading Week, a special event designed to combine the joy of reading with the benefits of spending time outdoors.
Throughout the week, children took their books beyond the classroom and explored a variety of outdoor reading spaces around the school. Whether reading under the shade of a tree, in the playground, or in our outdoor learning areas, pupils embraced the opportunity to enjoy stories and texts in a fresh and inspiring environment.
The week encouraged children to develop a love of reading while appreciating the positive impact that being outdoors can have on wellbeing, creativity and concentration. It was wonderful to see pupils sharing books, discussing their favourite stories and becoming fully immersed in their reading.
Outside Reading Week was a great success, helping to foster a lifelong love of books while making the most of our outdoor spaces.
