We have produced our own propaganda posters in a WW2 style.
We have been imagining what life must have been like for an evacuee during WW2.
Here are some examples of Year 6 Writing in the style of a diary.
Class 6 have in groups looked at each of the main leaders during WW2. They have studied some of the events in their lives and also what their thoughts and feelings may have been.
This term we are learning about World War 2. We began by visiting Blackburn Museum to look at artefacts and learn about rationing.
We also experienced what it must have felt like to be evacuated. Mr Frankland sent us all off to different classes with our shoe boxes filled with our favourite things.
You can tell from our expressions how we felt to be evacuated from Year 6!
Mr Frankland's Shoe Box Challenge
On Monday bring to school a shoe box filled with items you would take if you had to leave home like an
evacuee in World War Two.
What will you put in yours?
