TEAM ACTION CHALLENGE
We have enjoyed a Team Action Challenge today! We worked in teams to design and create a castle using various junk modelling and craft materials. The castle had to have a drawbridge, arrow loops, a tower and a flag measuring 10cm.
Well done to our winning teams- RED and BLUE teams!
Rapunzel and The Tunnel
We have done lots of activities based around two brilliant books.
The children have loved getting involved in lots of short writing and drama activities to develop and widen their ideas and language. We created a conscience alley and we have hot seated the witch's character.
They have produced some brilliant Tunnel stories and some great letter writing to Rapunzel and the witch.
Hoghton Tower!
To start off our topic, we went on a school trip to Hoghton Tower. We had a lovely day and even got to dress up as Knights and Princesses!
We saw lots of different features of castles. Take a look at the photo's.
Can you spot ...
Turrets? A tower? Arrow loops? A flag?
