Scrumdiddlyumptious

Scrumdiddlyumptious

This week we had a scrumdiddlyumptious time at the Chocolate House on Philips Road.We tasted three different types of chocolate.

Then we enjoyed some hot chocolate!

After we had watched the chocolate making demonstration it was off to the shop to buy our favourites! The shop is open to the public most days of the week. We will be back - why don't you give it a try!

On No Pens Day Wednesday we went for a rainbow nature walk collecting various items around the school grounds. When we returned to class we created journey sticks to remind ourselves where we had been.

We are learning about food, nutrition and of course chocolate!

We are reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. On September 13th it was Roald Dahl day so we learnt lots of things about the author.

We have already made chocolate kebabs and lemonade and we are looking forward to Warburtons coming to visit.

We have been making some delicious sweet treats in class. Some of the treats we enjoyed the most were fruity kebabs and chocolate chip cookies. YUM!!!!

Did you know that a kiwi fruit contains twice as much Vitamin C as an orange?
